Post Surgical Update

Rick reported to us that Linda's five-hour surgery is now over. Both surgeons informed Rick that "it went great". I'll talk to my mom later this evening to see if she has heard additional information. I'll post again before I go to bed.

I am so glad that you have come through the surgery well and everything looks great! I have been praying for you, way out here in Texas. Your attitude is a wonderful example to everyone and I am not surprised at it at all! That attitude is the only one I would expect from you.

A word of encouragement: my good friend Sue, who was diagnosed at age 36, kids the same age as mine, is celebrating her 10 year anniversary on April 1st.

My mom will be having her 15 year ann. in May. By the way, she was part of the initial study with the dye being injected to determine if it had spread. Her journey help others, like you.

I will continue to read your blog and pray for you, Rick and the kids. I am proud of your strength.

Love, Teri Isaguirre

I thought about you all day and each time said a little prayer. (I know you felt my whispering in your ear.) I had not had an opportunity to look at your blog over the weekend because Bob and I were out of town.

I kept wondering where you were in the process. I am so glad you came through as the trooper I've always known you to be. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

Thanks to Julie for agreeing to continue your blog.

I will be in contact with Karin to see what needs there might be for your family and how I can help to ease those needs.

My love to you, Rick and the kids!

Linda,

You are an incredible woman and an inspiration to us all! Of course, having worked with you, I knew how incredible you were, but your faith and strength are inspirational. My prayers are with you and the family.

Cathy :)
